We’re all rather excited at Anns Cottage. On July 8th, our Falmouth store will be undergoing a transformation. It involves footwear company TOMS, paper cut artwork by London-based Two For Joy, and a head-turning window installation to stop you in your tracks. Save the date...

We would like to introduce you to Stacey Williamson, creator of Two For Joy. She creates paper artwork so intricately designed it’s as fragile as a butterfly’s wing. Inspired by anything and everything from wildlife to mythical lands, each design tells a story through pictures.

Two For Joy has taken part in various designer-maker markets and pop up shops in London, and Stacey has recently joined the TOMS Shoes artists team. Now everyone is aware of how much we adore TOMS at Anns Cottage. The footwear company founded by Blake Mycoskie in 2006, donates a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair purchased (read our TOMS blog post to find out more).

As part of the artists team, Stacey took part in the Style Your Sole UK tour customising shoes with TOMS, before being chosen to design their Summer window installation.

Stacey will be installing her design at Anns Cottage Falmouth!!!!!!!! (This calls for definite over-use of exclamation marks)

On Sunday 8th July, passers-by will be given front-row viewing to Stacey’s sought-after talents which will see a TOMS window display unique and exclusive to Anns Cottage. The designs are already in progress and we have a few sneak previews of what we can expect. Have a look on Two For Joy's Facebook and Twitter for more sneaky peeks!

Finally it’s clear why Anns Cottage is so (MASSIVELY) excited. Any plans for Sunday 8th July need to include a stroll through Church Street Falmouth to see paper artistry in all its brilliance.
