If you’re a regular Ann’s Cottage follower, you’ll know how much we love a giveaway (if you didn’t know this, where’ve you been!?) Throughout November and December we ran our Surf Photo Competition which saw Alex Young walk away with an O’Neill Psycho wetsuit just for submitting his (quite spectacular) photo of Porthcurno at high tide (above). We received over 100 surf photographs, with no two being similar. We’ve chosen our favourite runner-ups for you to take a peak at while inspiring yourself ready for our next competition...

If YOU take an ‘ansom picture and want a chance to win a goody bag, simply photograph a sunset and send to info@annscottagesurf.co.uk. We’ll be choosing the winner on 30th January so make sure you’re ready with the camera when the sun eventually makes an appearance. Last week I was astounded when seeing a dull yellow light behind the clouds, mainly because I haven’t seen/felt any form of sunlight since August. If you too, witness such a rare occurrence, then make sure you’re prepared and not caught unawares like I was. 

Lets look on the bright side, with each day passing our evenings get that little bit lighter. Hurrah.
